India, Feb. 16 -- A devastating road accident in Prayagraj on Friday and a fire in the mela grounds on Saturday marred the festivities in Kumbh as the week came to a close. A fire broke out at the storeroom of a camp in the Maha Kumbh Mela area on Saturday evening, gutting seven tents and destroying some items, including blankets and foodgrains, officials said.

No person was injured, they said.

Meanwhile late evening heavy rush led to chaos at New Delhi Railway Station on platform no 14 and 15 from where Prayagraj Express was scheduled to depart.
