Jamshedpur, April 10 -- In a renewed push for electoral reform and local representation, the Shahid Thakurji Pathak Welfare Society has submitted a formal demand letter to the Election Commission of India (ECI), urging the creation of a separate assembly seat for Jugsalai. The demand highlights concerns over the underrepresentation of Jugsalai voters in the current electoral framework.

According to the society, the Jugsalai Assembly Constituency, as it stands, includes areas such as Baghbera, Karandih, Kitadih, and Patmada, which often determine the outcome of the elections.
