India, Nov. 4 -- "MICROCON 2025" a national conference of the country's leading scientists, doctors and experts, was held at the Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi. This five-day event, focusing on the latest advances in clinical microbiology, infection control and public health, was inaugurated by Professor Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi. In his address, he praised the contribution of microbiology during the COVID-19 pandemic, saying that we are all grateful for it. Referring to the film "The Vaccine War," released in 2023, the Vice Chancellor said that the film shows that the media narrative was set that India could not develop a vaccine, but we did it.
