New Delhi, April 16 -- The Delhi government has announced an increase in minimum wage rates for all categories of workers. Effective from April 1, 2025, these revised wages aim to tackle the ongoing inflationary pressures faced by workers in the capital city. According to the new wages notification, unskilled workers, for instance, will now receive '18,456 per month, a rise from '18,066. Semi-skilled workers will earn '20,371, up from '19,929. Skilled workers, including non-matriculate workers, will now be paid '22,411, an increase from '21,917. For those with a graduate qualification or above, the new wage will be '24,356, up from '23,836.
