New Delhi, July 10 -- Amid ongoing language war in several States, the Delhi Government's Directorate of Education has directed all its schools to ensure at least one English medium section is available in each class, starting from the current academic session.

According to a circular issued by the DoE, admission to the English Medium section may be done as per the willingness and aptitude of the students. All subjects, except for regional languages, will be taught in English in the designated section. In a circular released on Tuesday, it asked heads of all Government schools to implement the directive in continuation of instructions issued in 2014 and 2018.
