New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- A day after the electoral showdown in Delhi, many candidates who toiled hard campaigning for a month, spent quality time with family members, meeting with well wishers, relatives and party workers. Some of them spent their time attending party meetings, playing with pets, visiting temples, meditating and preparing for the verdict that lies ahead. Some of the candidates returned to their daily activities, including exercise sessions and park visits.
Polling was held across 13,766 stations in all 70 Assembly constituencies of the capital on Wednesday and with the results scheduled to be announced on February 8, political leaders balanced relaxation with party meetings and planning sessions.
