New Delhi, May 29 -- The Delhi Police has transferred 24 Indian Police Service (IPS) and 14 Andaman and Nicobar Islands Police Service (DANIPS) officers to new roles, the office of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said on Wednesday.
As per the official order, several senior officers will assume new positions across different units and ranges in the force.
David Lalringsanga (1995 batch) has been posted as Special Commissioner of Police, SPUWAC and SPUNER - Special Police Unit for Women and Children and Special Police Unit For North-Eastern Region.
