New Delhi, March 3 -- Delhi Police is planning to intensify efforts to combat organised crime and crackdown on gangsters operating from jails the country and abroad.
A high-level meeting of senior officers of the Delhi Police took place on Saturday at the police headquarters in New Delhi to lay out elaborate security measures for the national capital, a day after the Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the law and order situation, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi Home Minister Ashish Sood and Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan attended the meeting.
According to police sources, Senior Commissioner Police Law and Order Zone-l Ravindra Singh Yadav and Zone-ll Madhup Tiwari briefed Joint CPs and DCPs regarding the measures to be taken. The...
