India, Jan. 29 -- The Delhi Police marching contingent has been declared the best marching contingent among the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and other auxiliary forces at the Republic Day Parade 2026. Delhi Police won the top honour in the Judges' Choice Category, according to an official communication issued by the Ministry of Defence.

The announcement was made by the Ministry of Defence, Directorate of Ceremonials, which informed that the Delhi Police contingent stood out for its precision, discipline and overall presentation during the national parade held on January 26 at Kartavya Path.
