New Delhi, March 7 -- The construction of Delhi Metro's Golden Line achieved a major milestone on Thursday as the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) broke through at the Vasant Kunj Metro station site after completing a 1.55-km tunneling stretch from Kishangarh.
This underground corridor, which will connect Aerocity to Tughlakabad, is part of the 19.34-km underground stretch of the Golden Line - the fourth phase of the Metro network. The breakthrough of the TBM at the Vasant Kunj Station site of the Delhi Metro took place in the presence of Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu.
