New Delhi, June 2 -- In a move aimed at making public transport more inclusive and commuter-friendly, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched a priority security check facility for special category passengers across all metro stations. The initiative, implemented in collaboration with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), is designed to ease travel for passengers who may require additional support.

This newly introduced facility will benefit persons with disabilities (divyangjans), pregnant women, women travelling with infants, senior citizens, and individuals with visible injuries.
