New Delhi, May 17 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday said her government is committed to equipping the Fire Department not just with the best in the country but with world class fire-fighting technology and resources. The Delhi government has allocated a separate budget of '110 crore this year for the procurement of modern vehicles and fire-fighting equipment,she said.
The Chief Minister also emphasised that fire department must be capable of deploying the most advanced systems to tackle any emergency immediately in a city like Delhi.
