India, Jan. 26 -- In fresh trouble for comedian Kunal Kamra, a Delhi court has sought his response to a plea filed by a Shiv Sena leader seeking an FIR against him for comments allegedly ridiculing Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
The case arises from his satirical "Naya Bharat" video, which took aim at the Shiv Sena leader. Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Vandana of the Rohini Court passed the order on January 20, 2026, while hearing a criminal revision petition filed by Sandeep Chaudhary, the party's Delhi chief.
The court issued a notice to Kamra and scheduled the next hearing for March 20, 2026. The legal dispute began when Chaudhary sought a police investigation
