New Delhi, May 10 -- The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) on Friday received a hoax threat email claiming to blast the Arun Jaitley Stadium in retaliation for the ongoing "Operation Sindoor" carried out by the Indian armed forces against Pakistan.
A police complaint has been registered against the sender of the mail, and teams of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and dog squad, along with Delhi Police teams rushed to the stadium, after which, the threat turned out to be hoax, an official said.
