New Delhi, June 5 -- In a move aimed at making public services more accessible, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has resumed its "walk-in public hearings" from this week, officials said on Wednesday. Citizens can now directly meet senior DDA officials without having to secure an online appointment in advance.
The walk-in hearing facility will now be available every Monday and Thursday. Members of the public can visit DDA offices between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm to meet Deputy Directors and Directors. For matters requiring attention from higher-level officials, Commissioners and officers above that rank will be available between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
This renewed public interface is expected to particularly benefit senior citizens, less dig...
