New Delhi, April 30 -- The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has informed the National Green Tribunal that it has reclaimed 24 acres of land in the Yamuna Vanasthali project area from January to April as part of its efforts to reclaim the river's floodplains from encroachers. The Yamuna Vanasthali plan is one of the Yamuna floodplain restoration projects on the eastern bank, stretching from the Wazirabad Barrage to the ISBT Bridge, spread over an area of 236.5 hectares.
