New Delhi, May 3 -- The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has carried out a demolition drive in Sainik Farms to act against encroachment in DDAs land, a DDA notification said on Friday.
The demolition program at Saidulajab Village, which is a part of Sainik Farms, was carried out from April 24 to 26 in coordination with Delhi Police and Illegal under-construction farmhouses were removed, said the notification.
Apart from this, encroachment from Manekshaw Marg, Anupam Garden of Saidulajab village were also removed by DDA on April 25.
The Saidulajab Village falls under the jurisdiction of Neb Sarai Police Station and the Deputy Director of South Zone second of DDA Vidya Bhushan supervised the drive. The move by DDA was followed by the dire...
