India, Feb. 12 -- On 12th February 1809 in Shrewsbury, England, a boy was born who would later be responsible for how humans thought about their existence. That boy was Charles Darwin, a name that echoes around the world, specifically when 'evolution' is spoken of. Scientific institutions, universities, humanist groups, and educational organisations commemorate his birthday by celebrating "Darwin Day" for his immense contribution to the field of science and for developing the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection and authoring Origin of Species. His theory is metaphorically referred to as the "Theory of Everything" for Biology, as it provided the first unified explanation for the incredible diversity of life on Earth.
