Chandigarh, Feb. 10 -- The health of prominent farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has deteriorated significantly as he continued his hunger strike for the 75 th consecutive day, demanding a legal guarantee of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for crops and addressing other agrarian concerns.
According to doctors attending to him, most of Dallewal's veins have blocked, making it increasingly difficult to administer intravenous (IV) drips. Medical personnel, who had been providing fluids through his hand veins, are now struggling to find viable veins in his legs. For the past six days, medical aid has virtually stopped due to this complication, raising serious concerns over his survival.
