India, Feb. 13 -- Dabur India Ltd has commenced construction of its first South India manufacturing facility in Tindivanam, Tamil Nadu, with an investment of Rs 400 crore. The groundbreaking ceremony was virtually performed by Chief Minister M K Stalin. The plant will initially manufacture Dabur's toothpastes and personal care products, with plans to expand into juices and hair oils. The facility is expected to create around 250 direct jobs and several indirect employment opportunities. Designed as a world-class, sustainable unit, it will operate entirely on renewable energy and promote inclusive hiring, strengthening Dabur's supply chain and regional presence in South India.
