India, Nov. 30 -- India has stepped up large-scale humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) operations in Sri Lanka as the island nation faces severe flooding, widespread displacement and mounting logistical challenges in the aftermath of Cyclone Ditwah. With communities stranded, transport networks disrupted and rescue resources stretched thin, Indian assistance has emerged as a crucial support line for Sri Lankan authorities.
