NEW DELHI, Aug. 31 -- With winters not far away, the Centre or Science and Environment (CSE) suggested 65 per cent cut in pollution levels to meet air quality standards. In its latest analysis on Delhi's pollution, CSE has found that overall peak levels have reduced while number of days meeting Air Quality standard is increasing during summers and monsoon and winters.

Centre or Science and Environment (CSE) also mentioned that 'winter smog episode' is also getting fewer and the onset of winter pollution is also getting delayed. With this positive development to combat air pollution problem, Delhi is entering its next phase of action.
