Ranchi, May 8 -- Chief Secretary Dr. DK Tiwari on Tuesday directed the secretaries of all departments to focus on issues such as Panchayati Raj, pension, scholarship, water, electricity and street light for welfare of commoners. For monitoring the performance of various departments in this regard, he directed officials to hold weekly and monthly review meetings.
He said that due to the Lok Sabha and the Assembly elections the Government's work days will be reduced.
"Departments must draft a list of top 10 priorities and work on them before the end of the Model Code of Conduct," he said.
Tiwari on Tuesday reviewed the preparations for ensuring the fulfillment of the Chief Minister's 109 declarations in the 2019-20 annual budget.
