BALANGIR, Nov. 27 -- Separate Vigilance officials' teams on Wednesday raided the residence and office of Junior Engineer (JE) Girish Patra of Deogaon block in Balangir district on the charge of acquisition and possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During the raid, gold jewellery and cash of Rs 80,000 were found from his house.The total assets of Patra and his family members were calculated as about Rs 1.19 crore. The enquiry was in progress.
