Bhopal, March 24 -- Bhopal Crime Branch successfully apprehended a drug peddler and his accomplice, recovering 6.55 kg of illegal cannabis along with two mobile phones. The primary accused, Mohammad Anas alias Dana (32), had previously been expelled from the district under externment orders but continued to engage in criminal activities.
Acting on a tip-off, the Crime Branch team learned that a man was waiting with a grey trolley bag containing cannabis near an open ground in front of Yes Bank, MP Nagar. Upon reaching the scene, the police detained Mohammad Anas and his accomplice, Kaamna Yadav alias Khushi (22), who were sitting under a tree with the trolley bag.
