RAIPUR, June 27 -- Governor Anandiben Patel on Wednesday pitched for creation of a student-police committee in all police stations across the state.

She also suggested that a record of all schools falling under their jurisdiction should be maintained by all police stations.

The Governor issued the directives while carrying out an inspection of Kotwali police station in Raipur.

She opined that police must take care of their image and should make sure that victims coming to police station receive proper treatment and their complaints are quickly resolved.
