Indore, May 7 -- In a bold move to ease Indore's traffic woes, officials seized 30 haphazardly parked buses from various parts of the city on Tuesday.
The crackdown follows a Monday meeting where Collector Ashish Singh warned bus operators against obstructing roads by parking outside designated zones. He urged compliance to prevent traffic disruption and ensure road safety.
Acting on the directive, a joint operation was carried out by the district administration, Regional Transport Office (RTO), and traffic police to seize offending vehicles.
Buses parked illegally at Madhumilan Square, Jhabua Tower, Pipliyahana, Ring Road, Teen Imli Square, and Gangwal Bus Stand were thoroughly inspected and seized if found in violation.
