The campaign follows Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's directive to enhance road safety and law enforcement, with strict warnings against negligence in implementation.
The Chief Minister, in a recent high-level meeting, emphasised that unauthorised e-rickshaws and autos have been responsible for numerous accidents. Acting on his instructions, the Transport Commissioner has directed all Police Commissioners, District Magistrates, and Senior Superintendents of Police to execute the campaign effectively.
