Dehradun, Nov. 29 -- The death toll from the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Uttarakhand climbed to 1214 on Saturday with the state health department reporting 13 deaths from the disease. The department also reported 424 fresh cases of the disease on the day which further increased the tally of the disease to 73951 in the state. The authorities discharged 342 patients from different hospitals of the state after their complete recovery on Saturday. A total of 67197 patients have so far recovered from the disease in the state. The recovery percentage from the disease is now at 90.87 while the sample positivity rate is 5.62 percent.
