New Delhi, July 2 -- Holding the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) prima facie responsible for the gathering of three to five lakh people in Bengaluru that led to the death of 11 people on June 4, the Bengaluru Bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) set aside the Karnataka Government's order suspending Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Vikash Kumar Vikash due to stampede.
The tribunal noted that police personnel are also human beings. "They are neither God nor Magician and also not having the magic powers like Alladdin ka chirag which was able to fulfill any wish only by rubbing a finger," Tribunal said in its while defending the police.
