New Delhi, July 7 -- Coronavirus is airborne and even smaller particles can infect people, this has been the findings of more than one scientific studies, but the World Health Organization (WHO) has so far not acknowledged this as a possible mode of the spread of the contagion. The WHO has so far maintained that Covid-19 spreads primarily through coughs and sneezes.

Any admission that the virus can spread through air is bound to create an upheaval and panic across the globe. It will also raise fresh doubt about the WHO's whole approach towards tackling the pandemic.
