BHOPAL, Feb. 12 -- A 36-year-old contractor, Gagan Garg, died after falling from the third floor of an under-construction hostel at a private engineering college on Raisen Road. The tragic incident occurred while he was working on the site, with several laborers present at the time.

Upon receiving information, the police reached the spot and initiated an investigation. A detailed probe is underway to determine whether adequate safety measures were in place during construction.

According to initial reports, Gagan and his team were installing a lift to transport materials when the trolley suddenly slipped. In an attempt to catch it, Gagan lost his balance and fell nearly 30 feet, sustaining severe injuries.
