NEW DELHI, Feb. 16 -- Delhi Congress will hold demonstrations in all the wards of Municipal Corporation where by-elections are scheduled this year, to demand rollback of sky-rocketing prices of gas and petrol in the national capital.

Former MLA Alka Lamba and president of the Delhi Pradesh Mahila Congress Amrita Dhawan said "The Modi Government has so far collected ' 20 lakh crore on excise duty on petrol and diesel. He did not spare people from the tax burden even during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. The Congress will hold dharnas and demonstrations to protest against the cooking gas and oil price hikes in all the five MCD wards, which are going for by-elections later this month," they said.
