Gurugram, Aug. 20 -- The Congress party staged a strong protest against poor cleanliness and waterlogging in Gurugram and dumped garbage outside the Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG) office in Sector-34 on Monday.

The agitation saw the participation of senior Congress leader and film actor Raj Babbar, who accused the BJP Government of turning Gurugram into a "garbage village." The protest was led by Congress District Urban President and Rural President Vardhan Yadav, along with local party workers. Demonstrators alleged that garbage piles can be found in almost every street and locality of the city, while residents continue to suffer due to administrative negligence.
