Mumbai, April 29 -- Flagging the issue of "20 to 25 incorrect answer options" in the state-level Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) for engineering admissions held on Sunday, the Maharashtra Congress on Monday demanded investigations into the irregularities in the MHT-CET and awarding of marks to students for erroneous questions.
In a letter written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, State Congress president Harshvardhan Sapkal said that scores of students who appeared for the MHR-CET at a centre in Ahilya Nagar (known earlier as Ahmednagar) district of western Maharashtra, had complained that "20 to 25 questions" in the 50-mark Mathematics paper had "incorrect" answer options.
