Lucknow, March 29 -- Congress has maintained suspense over its candidates from its bastions Rae Bareli and Amethi while announcing four more candidates for the Lok Sabha elections from Uttar Pradesh.

The party had earlier announced the names of nine candidates from UP, including the name of UP Congress Committee president Ajay Rai, who will challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi.

The eighth list announced by the Congress late Wednesday night, included the names of four more candidates from Uttar Pradesh.

The Congress has given its ticket to Dolly Sharma from Ghaziabad, Nakul Dubey from Sitapur, Shivram Valmiki from Bulandshahr (SC) and Virendra Chaudhary from Maharajganj.
