Jaipur, April 9 -- A district level leader of the Congress, allegedly speeding in his SUV in an inebriated state on a narrow city road, hit multiple pedestrians and vehicles, killing three people and leaving six others seriously injured, police said on Tuesday.

The Congress announced the accused, identified as 62-year-old Usman Khan who is Party's Jaipur district Vice-President, had been expelled. The ruling BJP claimed the opposition Party was "full of people with criminal tendencies".
