Bhopal, May 23 -- In a strategic effort to rejuvenate its organisational structure in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress party has launched a grassroots pilot project in Vidisha, a key BJP stronghold and home turf of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
This initiative marks the beginning of a wider campaign to strengthen the party's presence across the state, starting from the village level.
In the leadership of newly appointed state in-charge Harish Chaudhary, Congress is expanding its framework by forming panchayat and ward-level committees alongside the existing booth and sector committees.
These new bodies aim to deepen voter engagement and reinforce the party's ideological and operational foundation at the grassroots.
