Chandigarh, May 10 -- Two days after three Independent MLAs withdrew support to the Nayab Singh Saini Government, the Haryana Congress on Thursday wrote a letter to Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, seeking an appointment. The former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that with the withdrawal of support by three independent candidates, the BJP-led government in the State has lost majority. Congress party is ready to parade all its MLAs before the Governor, he added.

Talking to reporters after a workers' meeting in Bhiwani, Hooda said the Congress delegation of 30 MLAs would also reach Chandigarh soon.
