Dehradun, Oct. 24 -- Reacting strongly to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) decision to file FIR against former Chief Minister Harish Rawat in the sting episode, the state unit of Congress party has termed it a conspiracy to muzzle the voice of the opposition in the state. The party has declared its unflinching support for the veteran leader on the issue.
The Vice President of the state unit of the Congress party, Surya Kant Dhasmana said that the CBI has registered a case against Harish Rawat in the case concerned with the conspiracy to topple Congress government on March 17 and 18, 2016. He said that the decision to file FIR on the person whose Government was under threat is a classic example of ' Pot calling a kettle black'.
