Chandigarh, Sept. 16 -- As the Election Commission of India is expected to declare the election date of Haryana Assembly polls anytime now, Congress in Haryana finally seemed to be getting into election mode and putting its act in place.

After former Haryana Chief Minister and chairman of the election management committee Bhupinder Singh Hooda sounded poll bugle by launching the election campaign from his native village Sanghi in Garhi Sampla-Kiloi constituency in Rohtak district, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has decided to launch a statewide Workers' Sammelans to test the nerve of party leaders and workers.
