AMBIKAPUR, March 3 -- Police on Tuesday booked a Congress Corporator and nine others for attacking a policeman at the Kotwali police station in Chhattisgarh's Ambikapur city.

Surguja district Additional Superintendent of Police O.M. Chandel said a FIR was registered against Deepak Mishra and others on the complaint of policeman Satendra Dubey.

They were booked for rioting, unlawful assembly, obscene act, criminal intimidation, voluntarily causing hurt, voluntarily obstructing public servant in the discharge of public function and assault or criminal force against a public servant, the officer said.
