BHUBANESWAR, Feb. 11 -- Ahead of the 2024 Assembly polls in the state, the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Saturday started screening of applications of party ticket aspirants. The OPCC has received online applications from nearly 2,500 aspirants for the State's 147 constituencies.

The Assembly elections in Odisha will be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls.

Earlier, AICC Odisha in-charge Ajoy Kumar had launched a portal to facilitate aspirants to apply for party tickets for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
