Bhopal, June 12 -- District Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh conducted surprise inspections across the state capital on Wednesday, directing immediate action on health services, construction timelines, and begging at major junctions.

Singh expressed displeasure after spotting women begging at the Lalghati traffic intersection. He ordered that those involved in begging be sent to rehabilitation centres and warned of strict action against those who resist.

The Collector began his visit at the Smart City multipurpose building in Tulsi Nagar. He instructed the addition of a fourth floor and expanded parking so multiple departments could operate from a single site.
