BOKARO, May 21 -- A significant anti-encroachment drive was conducted today by the Chas Municipal Corporation under the leadership of Additional Municipal Commissioner (AMC) Sanjeev Kumar. The operation stretched from Pandey Pool in Chira Chas to Kunj Vihar Pool, where unauthorized encroachments along the main roads were identified and addressed.
Violators were instructed to remove the encroachments immediately, and on-the-spot penalties amounting to 6,500 were imposed. The drive aimed to clear public pathways and improve civic accessibility.
