Lucknow, April 17 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has been actively engaged in campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections of late, took time out of his busy schedule on Tuesday to perform 'gau seva' at the Gorakhnath temple's cowshed. He visited the cowshed, inquired about the well-being of cows, and personally fed them roti and jaggery.

The chief minister reached Gorakhpur following his campaign in Bihar on Monday. Prior to embarking on a fresh campaign trail in western Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday morning, he offered prayers to Guru Gorakhnath at the Gorakhnath Temple and paid his respects at the 'samadhi' site of his guru, Brahmaleen Mahant Avaidyanath.
