India, Sept. 8 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has said that the Delhi Government is continuously striving to provide athletes with better facilities and international-standard sports infrastructure.
To encourage sportspersons, her Government is awarding Rs 7 crore to international gold medallists, Rs 5 crore to silver medallists, and Rs 3 crore to bronze medallists.
Along with this, new schemes have also been launched to provide financial support to emerging athletes at the state and national levels.
The Chief Minister shared this information at thegrand inauguration of the National Ranking Table Tennis Championship at the Thyagaraj Stadium.
