Bhopal, July 2 -- Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will distribute laptops under the Meritorious Student Incentive Scheme on Friday, July 4, at Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre in Bhopal. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh will also be present at the event.
As part of the Meritorious Student Incentive Scheme of the School Education Department, students who secured 75% or more marks in the 12th board examination of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will receive an incentive of Rs 25,000 for purchasing a laptop. This year, a total amount of Rs 235.58 crore has been allocated for 94,234 students.
