India, Jan. 16 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday said the National Cadet Corps (NCC) has, for decades, instilled discipline, unity, a sense of duty and patriotism among the youth. She also said cadets from different states, despite linguistic and cultural diversity, come together to reflect the unity of India, a true embodiment of the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'.

Making these assertions after visiting the NCC Republic Day Camp 2026 at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi Cantonment, she appreciated the unity, enthusiasm, discipline and patriotic spirit of the NCC cadets. Rekha Gupta said the day would remain one of the most cherished experiences of her life.
