Bhopal, June 4 -- Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Hotel Amaltas in Pachmarhi on Tuesday, where he paid his respects at the sacred place of worship of the Korku/Mavasi community. The local tribal members warmly welcomed him, showcasing their cultural traditions through an energetic performance of the traditional Gatha dance.
A 26-member troupe performed the Gatha dance, accompanied by musical instruments such as the dholak, timki, and jhanj. The performance captivated the audience, and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, in a gesture of appreciation, joined in with the Jhanjh-Manjira. To honor the artists, Dr. Yadav announced an incentive of Rs 5,000 for each performer.
